Nothing extra. Payment Assist is interest-free: you pay the same total as if you'd paid in one go, just split across the instalments. There are no fees for paying on time. Miss a payment and the usual late-payment terms apply, so it's worth being sure the monthly amount is comfortable.
Repair and servicing bills over a minimum amount — typically the bigger jobs: clutches, cambelts, suspension work, brakes all round, MOT failure repairs. It's not designed for a £45 MOT on its own. If you're not sure whether your job qualifies, ask when you get the quote.
You need to be over 18, a UK resident with a UK bank account and debit card, and pass the eligibility check. Payment Assist is a regulated credit product provided by a third-party lender, not by PDL; we simply offer it as a way to pay.
We'd always rather you got the car fixed properly than put off a safety repair because the timing's bad. If cost is the worry, tell us — there's usually a way.
