This website, pdlmotgloucester.co.uk, is owned and operated by PDL MOTs & Repairs Limited, Unit 4, 279 Bristol Road, Gloucester GL2 5DD (the "data controller"). Telephone 01452 524611. We take your privacy seriously and only collect what we need to look after your car and keep in touch with you about it.

If you've had work done with us, we'll text you a reminder shortly before your MOT or service is due. This is a service message to an existing customer, sent under legitimate interests. Every reminder tells you how to opt out: reply STOP and you won't receive another.
We use trusted suppliers to run the garage and the website, and they only process your data on our instructions: our booking, quoting and messaging software (MOTvault / Garage Command Centre, hosted on Supabase and Cloudflare in the EU/UK); FireText for SMS; WhatsApp Business (Meta) if you message us there; Blink Payment for card payments; QuickBooks for invoicing; Payment Assist if you choose to spread the cost; Anthropic, whose AI model powers Ask Lois (your question and any photo are sent to answer it and are not used to train models); and DVLA and DVSA vehicle data services. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone.
Booking, quote and invoice records are kept for six years for tax and warranty purposes. Vehicle photos are deleted after 60 days. Reminder details are kept while you're a customer and removed if you opt out or ask us to. Ask Lois conversations aren't stored beyond the technical logs needed to run the service.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it (where we're not legally required to keep it), object to reminders or marketing, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). The website and our booking systems are served over HTTPS. Data is stored with access controls and is only available to staff who need it to do their job. No internet service is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.
