PDL MOTs & Repairs opened in June 2009, in the depths of the recession, on one simple rule: every customer should leave feeling we were fair and completely trustworthy with their car. Seventeen years and thousands of Gloucester drivers later, it's still the rule.
PDL started as a family business and still is one. We're an independent garage at Unit 4, 279 Bristol Road — two minutes from the Cole Avenue junction — working on every make and model: MOTs, servicing, repairs, and the diagnostic work modern cars demand. Between them our technicians have more than 60 years in the trade.
Over the years we've built a loyal following, partly because we're good at fixing cars, but mostly because people trust what we tell them. We'd rather talk you out of a job than sell you one you don't need. That's why so many customers have been coming here for a decade or more, and why they send their families.
We use our local knowledge to arrange the things we don't do in-house — tyres, bodywork, auto-electrical specialists, LPG — so you have one number to call whatever the car needs. And we run our own booking, quoting and reminder software, built here in Gloucester, which is why the whole thing feels a bit more organised than you might expect from a family garage.
